Frequently Asked Questions About Boarding at Paw Community

At Paw Community, the day starts at 6:00 AM with a potty break for all boarding dogs, during which enclosures are cleaned, bedding is washed, and breakfast is prepared. Socialization and playtime are grouped based on size, age, and personality, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all pets. Dogs that prefer solitude enjoy playtime while others rest. At 6:00 PM, pets settle into their spaces for bedtime, with a final potty break provided between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. This routine is consistent every day of the week.

Yes, we recommend bringing your pet’s food to avoid upsetting their stomach. Please label the food with your pet’s first and last name and pack enough for their stay, plus 1–2 extra days. If you don’t bring food, we offer dry dog food (chicken or lamb) for $10.00 per day.

No need! We provide all bedding and supplies to keep things simple and safe. Personal items are discouraged to avoid loss, damage, or possessiveness over belongings.

Please drop off your pet before 5:30 PM to allow time for them to adjust and settle in before bedtime.

No. Dogs enjoy up to 12 hours of supervised play during the day with breaks for naps and meals. At night, they have a final potty break and settle into their individual spaces.

We accommodate stays from a few hours to several months. Discounts are available for long-term stays, including military deployments.

Puppies are welcome starting at 12 weeks of age with at least two sets of distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccines. Rabies vaccination is required at 6 months, and spaying/neutering is required by 7 months.

  • Rabies (for dogs 6 months and older, every 1–3 years).
  • Bordetella (every 6 months–1 year).
  • Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) (every 1–3 years).

We also highly recommend the Leptospirosis vaccine and a fecal test for your pet’s safety.
